2014 - Present: Marketeye.org Boutique

Since the summer of 2014 I have been providing consultancy services  under my bespoke research boutiqe brand Marketeye.org.  While remaining faithful to the natural resources sector, I have branched  out to management consultancy in a wider field. Although this is  expanding my knowledge base, I would love to return to an executive  role in the mining and metals industry. Contact me on andrew [at]  zemek.com.

2009-2014: Exploring for Metals in Poland

This 5-year period covers two employments: 2009-2011 as a Director of  Operations, Europe (Board position) with Strzelecki Metals Ltd listed  in Sydney (ASX), and 2011-2014 with the New York City based Electrum Group (private equity) as a Senior Adviser. In both cases my work  concentrated on all aspects of mineral exploration in Poland: applying for  mineral concessons, dealing with government departments; preparing  exploration programs and supervising day-to-day operations of two local  companies there. I was also involved in fundraisng in Australia and  takeover negotiations.

The company had exploration properties on 5 continents, but my  main focus was on Greenland, where A&R was preparing to re-open the  legendary Black Angel zinc-lead mine. Apart from the day-to-day running  of the company, numerous fundraisings, supervising exploration  programs, and dealing with the Government of Greenland I was closely  involved in preparation of a Bankable Feasibility Study for the project.  I  was also involved in A&R’s gold exploration JV in China.
